Nickie Harte Kelly

Nickie Harte Kelly Here we have mostly upbeat progressive rock from Los Angeles’ Adam Sears, with plenty of guest artists well-known in the current prog scene. All of the usual suspect instrumentation (various guitars, bass, and drums), heavy on the synths and other keys, throw in some violin, viola, and cello, and you have a sure winner of a release. Ace production and not one, but 2 epic tracks. No surprise that this is enjoying lots of airplay, and promises to have lasting success. Favorite track: Nothing Wrong.

Welcome to your day You'll find out what you are looking for Have a place to stay And find in your heart, what you really want I'm talking 'bout knowing the real you Not something that people expect of you Put your things aside And leave 'em alone It's not what you own There is no other way, you're spiraling in a circle It's all just shades of grey, there is no black and white No matter what you say, you're spiraling in a circle So just come out and play, you'll have a grand ole time There's nothing wrong with my life (I'm doing what I wanna do) There's nothing wrong with my life (You're down, you're down, you're bringing me down) There's nothing wrong with your life (You're doing what you wanna do) There's nothing wrong with my life You're down, you're down You're down you're down You're bringing me down Look another way Now life is waiting in front of you Take the time to stay And just be alive Just take your time to arrive At some place that's new Not where someone has pre-programmed you Open up your eyes It's all up to you, to find your own truth

Life-Line 05:53
There’s a world that hides And for a moment I had glimpsed another life-line Clashing with my eyes I had a sense there was an invitation calling from the other side I’m haunted by my dreams (They’re not what they seem) A silhouetted figured drew me closer To a lighted beam (Now I see it’s me) He said when you arise make to leave the light on, the light on These days I find myself withdrawn Every time I see, the people all around me Through a hazy wall There’s a prototype of everyone I used to know (so long ago) Scattered through the seams Another thread refused to be revealed I’m staring at the screens He’s staring back, and giving me a life-line, a life-line I see your mind and all the choices made along the way You will find that I am here to shield you from the pain in your heart And leave the light on glowing for the songs of your soul and steer you to the meaning of it all You are the meaning This special meeting Stay You are the meaning This special meeting Stay (Stay with me) We are the total We are the knowing Stay (I’ll stay with you)

Who is ever perfect? Why do you want to be? When your life will shade you From yourself that's free Who do you think you're fooling'? It could be only you Open up your heart to love And let the truth come through Why set yourself up for a life of disappointment? When the journey beckons you You're just one step away You wanted more, But soon you'll understand you have it all You wanted more, But soon you'll understand you have it all You wish you could be perfect But it's a state of mind A prisoner you have become In a prison you designed You're just a poor example of a life in disarray Be grateful that you have the choice No games you need to play It's time to take your gifts and teach us how to follow The Universe is waiting now Tell us what to say You wanted more, (You wanted more) But now you understand you have it all You wanted more, (You wanted more) But now you understand you have it all You wanted more, (You wanted more) But now you understand you have it all You wanted more, (You wanted more) But you're searching for something That's already inside you Inside you Hey there The Universe is for you It loves you And it always will, it always will Take care The Universe is for you It loves you And it always will, it always will Hey Dear The Universe is for you (Search beyond the mind) It loves you And it always will, it always will Take care The Universe is for you (Leave it all behind) I love you And I always will, I always will You have it all (You have it all, You have it all) You have it all (You have it all, You have it all) You have it all (You have it all, You have it all) You have it all (You have it all, You have it all)

Do you know me? Are you dreaming? Does your soul breathe in the night? Are you lonely? Thinking of me? Do you know me in the night? In the night In the night

Try, as you may, to hold on to what's in the past
Just don't forget that these dreams may not even last You have a new path ahead through the ebb and flow But choose to stay and you're doomed to never know Every now, Every day, Every night, every yesterday
Some come to play, some to fight, some just go away
Some give you love even when you're in deep despair
Some look right through you as though you're not even there A glimmer of hope shows a glimpse of how things could be or you can cope with the fear that you'll never be free Coping and fear disappear when you win the fight
Follow the sign, what you'll find will be beautiful light
 It's waiting before your eyes
This could be a magical life
From now 'till the end of your time So reach for the beautiful light So you had a pretty bad week. (Don't let it get you down) It all seemed to pile at your feet. (It's easy to turn around) It stopped you right in your tracks (Just know that you are free) And you couldn't deal with the facts (Breathe deep and then you'll see) You didn't know where to begin. (You gotta start somewhere) You couldn't see a way in (You were already there) But you knew deep in your heart (Don't you give up the fight) That now was the time for a start (This time you'll make it right) But you stuck through and through And you got to the beautiful light
It's waiting before your eyes This could be a magical life From now 'till the end of our time So reach for the beautiful light It's time to reveal who you are You're beautiful as I can see No reason to go very far Give yourself moments to be Give yourself moments for love Open your heart and you'll see It's your beautiful light It's waiting before your eyes This could be a magical life From now 'till the end of our time So reach for the beautiful light It's ready for you so don't hide We're all in a magical time Craving a taste so divine It's all in the Beautiful Light Beautiful Light
Beautiful Light

Our Test Tube Universe A man of science shakes his head He doesn’t understand exactly what he has A micro-blip within a quark A little fractal of a limitless expanse A small flicker in the glass Precise instruments measuring more mass He overlooks the misty flask The meter rises to the max, then shatters How do we see a world that’s not our own? Maybe a few will get to see it shown How do we let our god know that we’re here? Why do we think that our god really cares? He tries to re-create his data He writes equations till he’s blue in the face His peers know of his reputation His far-out ideas are not exactly embraced Do we look toward science for the answers? Can we explain everything with some math Every revolution goes by faster Are we prepared to leave our beliefs in the past? How do we see a world that’s not our own? Only the few will get to see it shown How do we let our god know that we’re here? What makes us think that our god really cares? How do we know that we are not alone? So much we take for granted is unknown Maybe the smallest specks He sees are stars Though He created us inside of jars He doesn’t understand his data Commencing quantum trial two hundred twenty-two His test is still derived from beta It’s just an echo of his creator How do we see a world that’s not our own Only a part of our perception shows How do we know that our god knows we’re here? Why do we think that our god really cares?

I.) Futureflow II.) In the Night III Waking in fear in the night He sees a face Knowing that all isn’t right He hesitates Could it be he saw the face of God Life has been moving so fast And won’t slow down I wanna see something last And not break down But I feel that I have no control as I lose myself again Is this supposed to be? Dreamers of love pass me by They look the same Always a gleam in their eye No one to blame But it feels like love will never come Feelings we try to evade They hibernate Questions of what we have made We leave to fate But we just don’t understand Is this supposed to be? Is this supposed to be? Is this supposed to be? Is this supposed to be? Is this supposed to be? III.) Dreamflow IV.) A New Beginning Let’s forget about the past You know it doesn’t matter anymore Yeah, something these feelings last You can take them with you as you go explore Yeah, I found out a way Yes, I found out a way Yeah, I found out a way Yes, I found it out Let your feelings guide you to A new beginning where everything’s unknown Trust yourself to see it through And listen for what messages are shown Yeah, I found out a way Yes, I found out a way Yeah, I found out a way Yes, I found it out Every harnessed feeling Cultivates the meaning Illuminates the path you know Look beyond the ceiling Initiate the healing Allow your love to overflow… and grow V.) Dreams Are Coming True Flowing through the change Everything is brand new Take to the mountains Dive to the sea Feel all around you bathe in your being Flowing through the change Everything is brand new Nothing’s out of range We’ll be here to see it through Soaring through the sky High above what we knew As we’re passing by All our dreams are coming true
